The only person who might not love it is someone who needs a frenetic pace ALL the time but even that person should at least download a trial. I highly recommend this game for almost any gamer. Building is easy it only takes time, not money or resources. Your only goal beyond beating the enemy is protecting your main characters back at your village from perishing. The battles are not super frustrating because when your army dies they are regenerated. You are required to explore an island, build up an army if needed, battle unusual enemies, all the while looking for items to help your mission. This game is a hard game to describe and utterly unique. This Magnifying Glass is obtained at a later level but it enables you to go back to all the levels to complete your search for gems and you do want to find all the gems because you get an additional level when you do get them. In addition, there have been a few additions to buildings and most importantly a Magnifying Glass.

I don’t know for sure but it seems to me that with 12 additional levels to play plus the additional quests, this game is at least twice as long and except for the same major storyline almost completely different. The islands I played had different geography, different locations of enemies and treasures, and added items to search for. Since I didn’t play the first version, I did a little research and a little playing of the original Totem Tribe, and I’ve got to say that the Gold version has added so much content, it’s just not the same game. Have you never played Totem Tribe before? That would be me! Have you played Totem Tribe, loved it, and been waiting for a sequel? How about playing an even better version of the original game instead?
